Mid-Week Madness

Mid-week in LA soared with celebrity sightings. My first stop last night was Armani Exchange’s launch party for AX watches on the rooftop of the SLS Hotel. Wearing an AX sundress (I didn’t really plan it, but once out I didn’t know if cheesy or not to wear an AX dress to an AX party?). In any case, wearing a sundress, even with a cardigan, it was uncharacteristically cold in LA and I was an ice cube within an hour.

Running to the warmth of Nobu West Hollywood to defrost, I just missed La Lohan who got to the AX soiree a few minutes before it was slated to end. (Prior to the party Lohan hit MyHouse for Asics Paper Magazine’s Most Beautiful People party). She left that party before Leo DiCaprio arrived with his BFF Lucas Haas and odd companion Marc Anthony. I hear Leo spent most of the night at the club in ‘deep conversation’ with Marc Anthony. Marc’s wife Jennifer Lopez was a few miles away at Victoria Beckham’s 35th birthday at Cecconi’s.

Nobu was fun. I hear Leo was there before MyHouse, but, I missed him.

Meanwhile, wish I could have been a fly on the wall at Katsuya last night where I hear Jessica Simpson was dining with her mom Tina and sister Ashlee- while a pair of her ex’s – John Mayer and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, allegedly dined together at a nearby table! Others say John left before Jessica arrived. I’m still trying to solve this one ;) xo
