According to EW, the sitcom had 13.6 million viewers, which is a 14% increase from the previous week.
A lingerie-clad Miley played Missi, the presumptuous daughter of Walden's (Ashton's character) friend. While it looks as if Walden finds himself tangling with the teenager, it's actually Jake (Angus T. Jones) that she dates when he returns from the army.
The two-episode arc is Miley's first return to TV since Hannah Montana ended in 2011.

Men co-star Jon Cryer, who took home a Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Emmy for his turn on the sitcom, commented on working with the Hannah Montana star: "They gave her page-long monologues, and all week she was on book with them," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Then we did in front of audience and Miley brought it. Then I remembered she was hatched in Disney labs in Burbank and grown for just this sitcom situation."
