Could Miley Cyrus be the next big star to hit the Great White Way?
The tween sensation took Broadway way by storm when she unexpectedly attended Legally Blonde: The Musical, in New York City's Time Square on May 16.
News that the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star was inside the Palace Theatre spread quickly. "She was super nice to fans. She took pictures and signed autographs," an inside source with the show tells OK!.
The night's performance got a late start due to Miley mania. "They couldn't start the show, she was swarmed," the insider reveals. "They took her backstage so the audience could calm down and the show could get started, and then she was brought back to her seat."
Laura Bell Bundy, who plays Elle Woods, the musical's title role, got a chance to meet with Miley and her mother, Leticia, when they stopped by backstage during intermission.

"Her mom is from Kentucky and I'm from Kentucky, so we connected over that," Laura tells OK!. "She couldn't have been more sweet and adorable."
The search for the next Elle will begin on the MTV reality series, Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search For Elle Woods, on June 2. They may not have to look far though, according to Laura.
"I imagine Miley at some point could do this role, but she has a lot going on!" she says.
