After seeing Mindy and Danny finally share that spontaneous kiss on The Mindy Project, we're dying to know, will TV's romantic odd couple make it official this season or continue their "will they or won't they" status a la Friends' Ross and Rachel?
"We were actually talking about Ross and Rachel in the writer’s room where I just came from and not even in contrast to our show," Mindy told OK! at the FOX Winter Press Tour All-Star Party in Pasadena, Calif. "They were on and off for like 10 years. I feel if Danny and Mindy were to get together that’s something that…they’re older than Ross and Rachel were. Mindy’s in her mid 30s and Danny’s almost 40, it’s not like Friends where they were 24. I’m not finished telling stories about both of them being single. It’s really fun."

Plus the cast would lose all of the fun opportunities for amazing guest stars, and Mindy admits she receives a lot of emails from actresses interested in playing Danny's girlfriend. In fact, Jenna Dewan-Tatum will appear in an upcoming episode as one of his former lady friends when the series returns on April 1.
