Miranda Lambert certainly has a busy summer ahead with a hot career, a spot on the Lilith tour, and an upcoming wedding to longtime boyfriend country singer Blake Shelton.
But the House That Built Me singer, 26, is getting through it all thanks to a little help from some paid professionals.
“I’ve hired people to help me to do the wedding,” she says. “There’s no possible way I could do this myself, but it’s all good stuff. I’d much rather have all good stuff and be busy rather than nothing at all. I’m excited about all of it.”
Pet lover Miranda attests that her wedding will be “unique” and her precious menagerie – which includes “two pigs, two donkeys, three mini-horses and three big horses, four goats, two dogs, three cats, and a bunch of cows and chickens” -- will be part of the festivities.
“I’m sure they’ll be in the wedding because they go everywhere I go,” she says.
For Blake, 34, tying the knot with Miranda means saying goodbye to youthful excesses.

“It’s a hell of a feeling to walk up and down this carpet and see all these beautiful girls, and realize I’m never going to get laid again,” he tells me with a smirk. “I’m told that’s what happens when you get married.”
Although Miranda insists she has made “no plans,” she is consulting Blake on the details.
“I don’t agree with everything, because that makes me seem like I’m disconnected, so I’ve taken the role of saying ‘that’s the exact same idea that I had, honey,’” he says. “It’s working so far.”
How did he know Miranda was The One for him?
“She and I knew that the first day we met. Between the two of us, we still had a lot of things we needed to go through and some growing up to do. You don’t want to rush something like that, and I definitely think it was the right time. Now I know it was.”
