Miranda Lambert may be wearing a ring on that finger, but she doesn’t have something to share about her beau Blake Shelton.
“Oh no, it’s just a ring on that finger,” the 26-year-old country singer laughs. “No, no, I'm not engaged.”
The star, who calls Oklahoma home, celebrated her November birthday in Nashville at the BMI Awards meeting Kris Kristofferson.
What did Blake get her?
“He got me what I got him, which was nothing,” she laughs. “This year we didn’t make a big deal out of birthdays. We celebrate life every day together. A birthday’s another day.”

What is it really like to be famous?
“Some days it’s awesome, and some days it’s annoying,” she says. “I’m very normal and down-to-earth and love being in the country and never get caught up in the scene of things. It’s different for me. But the real me is when I’m on my farm in no makeup and no bras. It’s fun to get dressed up though.”
Her pal Jack Ingram can’t get enough of her down-home personality.
“I love, love, love Miranda,” he tells me. “That all that tough girl stuff is cool and I dig it too, but she’s a sweet, sweet, sweet woman. Image is everything, and it’s cool – it works for her. But she’s sweet as can be.”
