Country singer Miranda Lambert swapped her jeans and cowboy boots for pretty party frocks, meeting up with OK! on a fashion shoot at the Historic Carnation Plantation in iFranklin, Tenn., where she dished on her fashion must-haves (hello, Spanx!), resisting the pressure to be pin thin and why she loves Beyoncé.

Miranda shot to fame on the reality competition Nashville Star in 2003 -- and she's never looked back. Her third album, Revolution, is out now and the Academy of Country Music Award-winning singer, 25, is up for yet another accolade -- female vocalist of the year -- at the CMA Awards, airing Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

She's also found success in the romance department -- she's been dating fellow country star Blake Shelton, 33, since 2005.

"We're outdoorsy, we love to hunt and fish," she says. "And music is always a common thread between us."

Blake is seven years older than you. Is that a problem?

Guys are always a little more immature, so I think we're about even.

What's the secret to a happy relationship?

Staying best friends, because you can't always be romantic.

Is marriage in your future?

That's not even in the cards right now. There are such great things going on in our careers that we're focused on that.

Do you dress up for him?

If I want to impress him, I put on a jean skirt and cowboy boots. That's the way to his heart laughs.

How would you describe your style?

Casual, with a little rock 'n' roll thrown in: jeans, cowboy boots and belt buckles. I also love to dress up now and then too.

What do you love most about fall fashion?

I like to wear cool jackets and scarves. My favorite thing is when, on the first day you walk outside and it's chilly, you can go reach in your coat closet.

Your must-have for fall?

I've never had any real UGG boots, so my must-have is getting a pair. I have the cheap version, and I think it's time to spring for the real deal.

How do you feel about body image?

The pressure to be thin is so strong in the entertainment world. I have fans that come up to me and say, "Thanks for being normal." I'm a size 6 to 8, and I'm totally fine with that. Beyoncé is an inspiration to me -- she has a booty and is proud of it.

Style secret?

Definitely Spanx. That's every girl's secret, but most don't talk about it laughs. You don't have to think about sucking it in -- they do the work for you.

What are your beauty essentials?

Kiehl's moisturizer with SPF. I put it on every morning. I wear Michael Kors perfume, but I also like Love Spell lotion and body spray from Victoria's Secret. It's light and refreshing -- not too overbearing -- and smells young and pretty.
