Mischa Barton canceled a party-hosting gig for tonight at the opening of new club CatHouse in the Luxor casino in Las Vegas two days after her arrest in West Hollywood for allegedly driving under the influence.
While the club was still confirming the former O.C. star's scheduled appearance as recently as Thursday night, the actress' team told her she couldn’t do interviews and needed to decline.
"Mischa was being paid almost $500,000 to host the party," one insider reveals to OK!. "She hasn't had a hit in years, so she needed the cash and the spotlight."
