Now that Rima Fakih will surrender her crown during Sunday’s Miss USA Pageant, the beauty queen, 25, shares her six top beauty, bikini and diet tips.
EAT SALMON
“Salmon is healthy for you, and makes your skin glow,” she tells me at the Miss USA 60th Anniversary High Roller event held Friday at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. “I’m a vegetarian – I don’t eat chicken or meat – but I try to eat salmon for protein. My skin - it helps my acne. It’s so good for you diet-wise.”
ADD ASPARAGUS
“Eat as much asparagus as you can. Asparagus is the only legal diuretic that you can put in your body. It can cleanse it out, and you can burn more fat.”
USE PREPARATION H
“Before a show, or before a hot date, if you want to wear a bikini, at night, if you put Preparation H ointment all over your thighs, stomach and arms, and wrap yourself up with Glad saran wrap, and go to sleep with a lot of clothes on, it sucks up the water in your body, and for the next two days, you’ll look toned.”

PUMP UP YOUR EXERCISE ROUTINE
“Try to at least 2-3 times a week, walk for 30 minutes on a high incline, about 15, going at 3.4 miles an hour. That can burn so much.”
EAT THREE HEALTHY MEALS PER DAY BEFORE 7 P.M.
“My normal diet is either egg whites or oatmeal in the morning, salad with vinaigrette in the afternoon – if you like chicken, you put chicken breast – at 2:00, I’ll eat salmon, half a sweet potato, brown rice and asparagus and after 7 – I recommend that you stop eating. Around 6:00, I’ll eat salmon again, or you can replace that with chicken, and vegetables and asparagus again.”
HOLD BACK ON RED MEAT
“Only eat red meat once a week because it takes longer to process.”
