OK!'s Joyce Eng recaps your favorite Monday night show!

How I Met Your Mother: It's March Madness — HIMYM style! Barney has hit a wall picking up women and he can't figure out why. Turns out one of his former one-night stands is out to sabotage his love life — intervening when Barney steps away from the scene to warn the unaware chica of what's in store, which she did at MacLaren's to Lily, thinking Barney was hitting on her. Astounded and perplexed, Barney wracks his brain trying to figure out who it is, even breaking out his photo album of conquests — which includes, per the photo montage flash, Madeleine Albright! Go Barney! There's only one way to determine who this damsel is — create a tournament bracket of his top 64 wronged blonde women. The group bickers and argues over who advances through (a.k.a. the ones with the most cause to hate him) and we hear all various lines the Barnacle has used — 12 hours to live vs. fake proposal; fake baby vs. lost at sea. In the end, our final four are Meg, coming out of the Upper West Side region; Anna, from The Village region; Kate from Midtown; or Holly from Brooklyn — all girls we've seen from episodes past! HIMYM does continuity like no other! Along with Lily, the two track down these four gals — Lily with the hope of Barney offering his apologies, except things don't really go as planned. Meg apologizes for coming on too strong; Anna's mad at Ted Mosby (when Barney proves the phrase "Ted Mosby, Architect" works by pretending to be him) and has launched TedMosbyIsAJerk.com; Kate beats up "Larney," Barney's evil twin; and Holly, who Barney left stranded on a camping trip, invites him and Lily in for tea with her fiance Mark...whom she was cheating on with Barney! 0-4 so Robin suggests Barney hits on her (Robin and Barney so need to happen!) at MacLaren's and see who approaches her. A blonde chats it up with Robin, but Barney doesn't remember her; thus, he offers her a heartfelt apology in "One Shining Moment"...except that wasn't the girl, just Robin's co-worker. The real chick WAS in the bar though — in the background of the "Barney's Redemption" photo Lily took, but we'll have to wait to find out who she is! But oh wait, it doesn't end there. In what is possibly the best ending ever — the tag features a familiar tune and a familiar set-up. Barney, pausing before bedding another girl, writes in his blog — Doogie Diary style! The ellipses...the head tilt...the harmonious keystrokes...the moment of self-reflection and clarity — perfection!
