Gymnast Jordyn Wieber failed to qualify for the all-around finals today. The reigning world all-around gymnastics champion, 17, was outdone by teammates Aly Raisman, 18, and Gabrielle Douglas, 16.

"It is a bit of a disappointment," Jordyn said in a statement after the competition today. "It has always been a dream of mine to compete in the all-around final of the Olympics."

Later, she took to Twitter to thank all her fans: "Thank you all for your love and support. I am so proud of our team today and I can't wait for team finals!!"
