And the hits, they just keep on coming. Michael Phelps' fourth-place finish in the 400-Meter IM yesterday hasn't been the only surprise for Team USA during the Olympic Games so far.

Gymnast Jordyn Wieber failed to qualify for the all-around finals today. The reigning world all-around gymnastics champion, 17, was outdone by teammates Aly Raisman, 18, and Gabrielle Douglas, 16.

"It is a bit of a disappointment," Jordyn said in a statement after the competition today. "It has always been a dream of mine to compete in the all-around final of the Olympics."
