Morgan Freeman has been discharged from a Tennessee hospital nearly one week after flipping his car in a serious crash. A spokesperson at The Regional Medical Center in Memphis confirmed the discharge but gave no other details.
The Dark Knight star told ET, "I left the hospital today just after 12 noon, Memphis time. I'm doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at Elvis Presley medical facility and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It's great to know people care about you."

The Oscar-winning actor, 71, was treated for a broken arm, elbow and shoulder damage sustained in Sunday night's accident in Miss. He underwent surgery on Monday to reconnect nerves and to repair damage to his left arm and hand. Freeman's passenger, Demaris Meyer, was also injured in the crash.
On Wednesday, Freeman's lawyer confirmed to Access Hollywood that the actor is divorcing with his wife of 24 years, Myrna Colley-Lee and that "for legal and practical purposes, have been separated since December of 2007." The couple own a home in Tallahatchie County, Miss.
