NEWSMTV Announces 'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off For Pauly D

After seeing huge success from MTV’s reality show Jersey Shore in the last year, the network has officially closed a deal for cast member Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio’s own solo series.
DJ Pauly D has “distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can’t help but want to hang out with. We know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore and we look forward to exploring new possibilities around that,” Chris Linn, Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production at MTV, announced in a statement on Wednesday.

The Rhode Island native shot a pilot for his new series with 495 Productions in September and MTV has agreed to pick it up.
The series will showcase Pauly D’s life outside of the Jersey Shore, as a successful DJ now based out of Las Vegas.
