Oh, what a night! Once again the VMAs proved to be quite the night in the music industry. Among the highlights? Beyoncé revealing her baby bump on stage by rubbing her stomach after her performance of "Love on Top," Lady Gaga opening the show as alter ego Joe Calderone and performing "You and I" and Kim Kardashian presenting the best male video award to Justin Bieber. And we're just getting started! Of course, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Jay-Z, Britney Spears and Russell Brand paying a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse were all notable as well!

Similar to years past, the show had all the glam and surprises like its previous years. As Katy and Kanye picked up a statue for E.T., she turned to him and quipped, "Now's the time you want to interrupt me, Kanye." As noted by CNN, he surprised the audience a little later by performing on stage with Jay-Z to "Otis" from their album, Watch the Throne.

As for Chris, he moved, shimmied and shaked to a variety of songs such as "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. Toward the end he literally was airborne on stage, captivating the crowd including the Biebs who was seen in the audience saying, "That's my boy!"
