TV star Jason Lee and his wife have quietly left the Church of Scientology. The actor, best known for his role on My Name Is Earl, moved to Denton, Texas and left the controversial religion.
They have two children and were rumored to have broken up briefly because of his association with Scientology.
It was speculated he was going to try and open a church in his new home state but he denied that.
Jason told thedentonite.com that, "We don't practice Scientology, and that we aren't particularly interested in opening religious centers in general, we have no plans to open a Scientology center."
