First she had the special experience of becoming an Oscar winner, and now Natalie Portman has nabbed an even more precious honor — she's a mom to a newborn baby!

OK! learned the good tidings from an insider who said Natalie and her soon-to-be husband, dancer Benjamin Millepied, are nested at home in NYC with their new baby.

She and fiancé Benjamin, whom she met on the set where she earned her Academy Award, Black Swan, have been staying cozy in their Tribeca pad recently.
