Neil Patrick Harris on Fatherhood With Twins: "I Love When They're Smiling"
Jan. 7 2011, Published 10:55 a.m. ET
Neil Patrick Harris is quite a busy guy lately — beyond his usual schedule of hosting award shows and appearing in his Emmy-nominated role on How I Met Your Mother, he and partner David Burtka are parents to young twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace. During the People's Choice awards he thanked his kids during his acceptance speech for Favorite TV Actor, later telling reporters, "Fatherhood is going good!"
"They're very small right now, so thankfully there have been no urgent care trips or accidental drops," he added of the twins, who will be three months old Jan. 12.

So what's Neil's favorite part about being a new daddy? The happiness of his children!
"I love when they're smiling, but for a little while they don't," Neil explained to reporters. "They're smiling, and once they start laughing I am going to be head over heels for these two. Not like I'm already not, but you know," he added.
