It's official. Neil Patrick Harris landed another hosting gig: the 2011 Tony Awards! Doogie Howser himself has been confirmed as the host of theatre's biggest night!
"Since they're closed for retooling, we're using all the rigging equipment from Spider-Man. What could possibly go wrong?" NPH quipped in a press release announcing that he would be returning to host the 65th Annual Tony Awards, broadcasted live from the Beacon Theatre in NYC on June 12 on CBS.
Neil received rave reviews for hosting the show in 2009 and is very excited to return.
"I'm honored and stoked to have been asked to host the 2011 Tony Awards," he said in the release. "It should be a great show — we've got a fantastic mix of live performances and a few secret surprises."
The How I Met Your Mother star will be very busy juggling all his duties and his family — Neil, 37, and his partner David Burtka welcomed twins, a boy and girl, last October.

"We're thrilled to have Neil back as our host," executive producers Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss said. "And we're even happier he fits in the Spider-Man rigging."
