Neil Patrick Harris might play an outgoing, extroverted, self-centered bro on How I Met Your Mother, but in real life the openly gay actor says hosting the Tony Awards is not all about him. Even the opening medley won't feature him, he tells The Daily Beast.
"It’s going to be a pretty spectacular opening, but doesn’t involve the host," he reveals. "I’ll definitely be more of a master of ceremonies than a performing monkey. But we’ll see. I might [expletive] and moan about not getting the chance to sing and dance."
