Don't worry, Kardashians! Nelson Mandela's granddaughters are getting their own reality show, but they promise it won't be anything like yours.
"We're definitely not the African Kardashians," Dorothy Adjoa Amuah explained a press conference on Thursday announcing the show (via South Africa's Mail & Guardian Online).
Dorothy, who is 27 with a law degree and MBA from Monaco, is the youngest of Mandela's granddaughters who will be starring in a new reality show in Africa. Her older sisters, Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway, who has three children and works in a family business, and Swati Dlamini, a single mother and philanthropist, will also be featured.
The ladies were raised in the United States, but eventually all moved back to South Africa.
"The show will be about our lives as young, black women ... We're not wearing 'I'm a Mandela' T-shirts," Swati explained.
The show has yet to be named, but is planned to air in early 2012.
What would you title the show? "Not the African Kardashians?"
