NeNe Leakes as the Next Oprah?

Now that The Oprah Winfrey Show is gearing up for its final bow next month, Celebrity Apprentice star NeNe Leakes wants to be the next queen of daytime and snag her very own talk show! She's currently speaking with producers and production companies and even wants to relocate to Miami for the potential new gig.

All signs point toward something on the horizon for the former stripper. Consider this: She hasn't renewed a contract for another series of Real Housewives of Atlanta. A source told Radar Online, "NeNe is actively shopping herself around and she wants her own chat show and if that does not happen she would like her own reality show instead."

Apparently NeNe was encouraged when she some slots in Atlanta on local television. According to the source, "....she thinks that she has what it takes to be the next Oprah or Wendy Williams."

Sounds like she's well on her way to at least a little somethin' somethin'! The source also mentioned that Bravo and VH-1 have chatted with her about a variety of projects. "And with Oprah's show coming off the air soon she believes the time is right for a new black female talk show host too," said the source.
