New Parents Beyoncé & Jay-Z are Both Working on New Albums for 2012!

Rumor has it the king and queen of rap and R&B are working on new projects this year! Despite welcoming their first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, last month, parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z are both hard at work, prepping for new albums.

Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, who wrote the song "Halo" for Beyoncé, is working with the new mommy and confessed that B is, in fact, recording an album set for a 2012 release.
"The conversations about her next album literally just started and there are two projects happening," Ryan tells Billboard.com. "All I can say is you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in."
The OneRepublic frontman adds that most of the material focuses on parenthood, something that is now near and dear to Beyoncé's heart.

And Jay-Z has something cooking too — he's reportedly planning on producing two records this year!
In December, Jay revealed that once the Watch the Throne tour ended, he would start working on a solo album, as well as another one with buddy Kanye West.
"We — I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode — we're in a great place creatively," Jay-Z explained to MTV News. "You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year."
So prep yourselves B & Jay fans — we're guessing you're going to hear a lot of tunes about beautiful baby Blue very soon.
