Based in the small town of Forks, WA., the Twilight Saga has inspired producer Zig Gauthier to shed more light on the city with the possibility of a new reality show leaving out the vampire element, Hollywoodlife.com reports.
“Possibilities for the structure of the show include focusing on a group of high-school students, following one or more families who live in the town, or a Real Housewives model, in which cameras tag along with several interesting personalities in the town,” Hollywoodlife.com reports according to the Wrap.
Although known for its famous visitors such as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who filmed the vampire franchise Twilight in Forks, Gauthier had a vision for something different according to Hollywoodlife.com.
“We’re not going up there looking to cast people who have claims to the supernatural,” Gauthier explains.
Instead of focusing on the vampire craze, Gauthier wants to keep the show more down-to-earth, without, “…Forks townies pretending to be vampires and werewolves.”

“We want people who have a true connection to the community,” Gauthier envisions, according to Hollywoodlife.com, “We want to avoid people with outlandish claims.”
And with a very close-knit community of 3,200 residents, Forks seems like the perfect place to, “cast for an unscripted project,” Hollywoodlife.com reports.
