According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh, Ice Cube, Ryan are potential stars for the flick.

As a follow-up to Garry Marshall's, New Year's Eve will tell the intertwining stories of New Yorkers as they celebrate the holiday.

Josh would reportedly play a hopeless romantic (sounds perfect, right?) who tries to get to New York to find a mystery girl he met the previous year.

Ice Cube would play a NYPD cop who is coordinating the Time Square activities with the director (Hilary Swank).
