After a partial draft of the final installment in her "Twighlight Saga" was leaked online, author Stephenie Meyer is holding the last book indefinitely, reports The Los Angeles Times
“I did not want my readers to experience ‘Midnight Sun’ before it was completed, edited and published,” Stephenie wrote on stepheniemeyer.com last week. “I think it is important for everybody to understand that what happened was a huge violation of my rights as an author, not to mention me as a human being.”
Stephenie also posted her own link to the incomplete draft, saying, “This way, my readers don’t have to feel they have to make a sacrifice to stay honest.”
Fans might have to wait for the final book, but for now there's still enough Twilight to go around: the fourth book in the vampire series was just published in August, and the movie version of Twilight is due in theaters this November.
