This afternoon, co-creator Ryan Murphy Tweeted the amazing news that "Nicole Richie and the legendary George Takei are joining The New Normal family."
For those who haven't caught an episode, The New Normal is the story of gay couple David (Justin Bartha) and Bryan Andrew Rannells) who want a baby. Enter Goldie (Georgia King) who wants a fresh start and offers to carry the child for the pair. Meanwhile, Goldie has a conservative and volcanic grandmother (Ellen Barkin), who injects much of the humorous relief when she spars with the die-hard liberal gay couple.
