Nicole Scherzinger Knows What 'X Factor' Finalists Go Through

As the X Factor judges dished about the upcoming finals at a press conference last night, Nicole Scherzinger told the press she knows exactly what contestants are going through! But perhaps the even bigger question now that she's on the other side of the stage and relates to the eliminations. Is she having fun?

"I have had a lot of fun this season," she told reporters. "The reason why I took this job on is because I love artists, I love meeting artists and now I can communicate them and I want to see the best art out there... it has been very hard for me in the elimination process. It's something I could have never prepared for." Although she may not have exactly been prepared for showing people the exit door, the show has had its bright spots, too. After all, it's given her the opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane! OK! NEWS: RACHEL CROW GETS KICKED OFF THE X FACTOR "I have been there before so I actually got my start on a show like this so I know exactly what they are going through so having that side of me come out... I definitely feel very emotional. But for me, what's important is to live in the moment." Completely focused on the finale, she added, "I have got to get Josh coming out swinging and feeling amazing this week. I have got to make sure that I finish my job." As Simon starts to chuckle and roll his eyes, she noted, "Simon... I see you in the corner of my eyes so I am just going to focus on making sure that I do a good job with Josh here this week."
