Who knew Katie Holmes would become so dedicated to dance? On last night's episode of So You Think You Can Dance, judge and producer Nigel Lythgoe announced that he and Katie were teaming up with Adam Shankman and Carrie Ann Inaba to found the Dizzy Feet Foundation, to encourage children to dance who might not otherwise be able to.
Dizzy Feet will provide scholarships and assistance to "talented underserved youth to help them realize their dreams of becoming professional dancers and will also help elevate and standardize dance instruction nationwide."

Nigel also announced that Katie will perform during the show's 100th episode on July 23 on Fox, doing a Judy Garland number, "Get Happy" from Summer Stock.
"I think it's important for children to experience music and dance," said Katie. "Every child should have the opportunity to discover what it is they like and have access to the very best in that pursuit."
