Hairspray may have been a hit for it’s breakout star Nikki Blonsky but what isn’t a hit is the young star’s love life. “It’s probably the deadest place,” she confessed OK! at Bravo’s A-List Awards.
But, thanks to her mother's sage advice, the 19-year-old star has a plan. “She told me to marry a man who’s just as good as your father. So every man that I’ve met so far has not been as good as my daddy.”

Don’t feel too bad for her though, Nikki is working on an album and right now that’s enough to keep her happy. “When the time comes along for a man and the right one strolls in then yeah. But I’m not just going to settle.”
