No Riddler for Eddie Murphy

While all of Hollywood seemed to be buzzing that Eddie Murphy was a shoo-in to play the Riddler in the next Batman movie, his agent is now denying earlier reports that had him all but officially part of the cast, telling Access Hollywood that news is "not true."
Other names being bandied about for the popular movie have included Johnny Depp as the Riddler, Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin and Angelina Jolie or Rachel Weisz as Catwoman.

So far, however, the president of Warner Bros., Alan Horn, says they're focusing on the plot.
“The story is everything,” Horn tells Collider.com. “We’ve been talking to director Chris Nolan and what we have to do is get him in the right place and have him tell us what he thinks the notion might be for a great story, but Chris did a great job and we’d love to have him come back and do another one… we are going to be respectful of his timing and we want to get it right.”
