Nominations announced for 2007 CMAs

Nashville is buzzing with the announcement of the nominations for the 2007 Country Music Awards. Leading the pack with five nominations each are and . Both singers are up against each other for four of these, Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist, Single and Album of the Year.

Country superstar has four nominations along with and . Alison and Martina are up against , and for Female Vocalist. Three's a charm for John Rich, and Carrie Underwood who all have three nominations.

On Nov. 7, the home of country music will be home to the CMAs, and what an awards show it will be. Last year the awards took place in New York City.
