'The Notebook' is Heading to Broadway!

Nicholas Sparks, the author of the romance novel turned mega-hit movie starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, admits that his epic love story is making its way to Broadway.
The Notebook has been adapted into a musical and will slowly makes its way to NYC.
Nicholas sat down with CBS News and let them in on the secret while discussing his latest novel "The Best of Me."
"We're still in development of this process, but the best way that I’ve always found, and it’s what I’ve done in Hollywood or whether it’s working with the publishers that I’ve worked with for a long time, is to work with people that you really trust who understand what it’s about and they want to take that and mold it into something new," Nicholas explains.

He admits that it's still in the works, but that he can't wait for the casting process. Let's hope Ryan Gosling can sing.
