Rumors have been swirling for a while that X Factor honcho Simon Cowell was dating Carmen Electra - but it seemed too obscure to be true!
But the British media mogul has now confirmed that the former Baywatch babe is actually his new squeeze - although he's very clear that they are not a serious item.
"She's not my girlfriend," Simon explained to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show. "We're people who date. She's adorable isn't she?"
Simon ended his two-year engagement with Mezhgan Hussainy a few months ago while Carmen's planned trip down the aisle with Robert Patterson was called off earlier this year too.

Other bizarre dating duos over the years include Tom Cruise and Cher who were together in 1985. Brad Pitt just about escaped with his life after being found in bed with Mike Tyson's ex-wife Robin Givens by the boxer himself. And before Ryan Gosling hooked up with Eva Mendes he dated a 16-year older Sandra Bullock back in 2002.
