With shooting underway this week in Los Angeles on He’s Just Not That Into You — starring , , , , , and — producer Nancy Juvonen gives OK! the inside scoop on the film adaptation of the best-selling relationship book.

"I loved the book," Nancy explains to OK!. "It was a revolutionary cry. It empowers women that there’s no big mystery about men. The book is a study in human behavior in an absurd universe. The big thing about relationships is that we all want to believe in them and we all want to make them work."

And considering the popularity of the book, the producers had no trouble attracting A-list actors. "We were shooting for the stars, literally!" Nancy jokes. "When we mentioned names like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston some people said 'Yeah, right!'" But it worked, and according to Nancy there are no ego clashes to be seen. "Everyone on this movie is really down to earth."

In the film, Jen Aniston plays a character named Beth. "She’s going through one of those times in life when she’s getting knocked off her game," reveals Nancy.
