Donkey would be proud?Shrek star Eddie Murphy and girlfriend of 10 months Tracey Edmonds are engaged to be married, OK! has learned.The actor proposed to Tracey, ex-wife of singer Kenneth Babyface Edmonds, with a 'massive' Cartier yellow diamond engagement ring (roughly 8 carats!) on July 25.'They're very adorable together, very happy,' a friend of the couple tells OK!The next day Tracey celebrated with friends during lunch on the patio of the W Hotel in Westwood, California. 'She looked very happy,' an eyewitness tells OK!. 'She was proudly showing off the ring.'Eddie, 46, and Tracey, 40, began dating last October. They plan to tie the knot before the end of the year though no date has been set yet. 'It will be a private wedding,' says the friend. 'Something low key and very romantic.'Eddie has five children with first wife Nicole Mitchell. The marriage ended after 12 years and the divorce was finalized in April last year.He also has a child, Angel Iris Murphy Brown born April 3, with ex-girlfriend Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice. In June, a court-ordered DNA paternity test confirmed that he was the father. Eddie had earlier said I don't know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions.'In April Melanie told OK! 'I was shocked and then I felt a bit disgusted. I don't feel humiliated. I think the only person who has humiliated themselves is Eddie.Tracey has sons from her marriage to Babyface from their 13-year marriage. She is head of Our Stories Films. The company's film, Whose Your Caddy? about a rap mogul who attempts to join a conservative country club Down South, stars Outkast rapper Antwan Patton, aka Big Boi.On July 23, two days before he asked for Tracey's hand in marriage, she wore another flashy but smaller ring.
