OK! Interview: Eva Longoria & Robert Verdi
Feb. 11 2008, Published 10:12 a.m. ET
With all the restaurants and clubs rolling out the red carpet to celebrities during Fashion Week, the last place you'd ever expect to spot Eva Longoria Parker grabbing a bite to eat would be an anonymous midtown pizza joint. And yet that's exactly where OK! caught up with the Desperate Housewives hottie and her good friend and stylist extraordinaire Robert Verdi.
"I love New York pizza!" laughs the petite beauty, dressed in a Naeem Khan creation — an orange tunic-like dress laced with multicolor paisley designs. It's been one of her favorite dresses to wear this season, she tells OK!.
"She looks amazing in orange," Robert chimes in.
In addition to chatting about Fashion Week, the recently wed Eva opens up about her future travel plans. "I would love to go to India," the Texas native tells OK!. "The colors, the people, the food... it's all amazing!"
This desire to see the sights of the Asian nation is echoed by Verdi, who says, "It's definitely a place I want to go and experience." Another thing these pals share is their love of Indian cuisine — "the spicier the better!" Eva exclaims.

So what brings one of the world's hottest actresses and a superstar stylist to a pizzeria in Manhattan at midnight? In addition to all their Fashion Week obligations, the pair had just come from the release party for the new Sheryl Crow CD and needed to grab a bite. "It's been a very long and crazy — but fun — day," explains Robert. "No time to eat!" And what better way to sate your late-night cravings than with a slice?
Seconds later, a few lucky late nighters are in for a big surprise when they see the sexy actress sitting in the corner table.
"Is that who I think it is," asks one customer.
"You got it," confirms the friend.
"Wow!"
Just goes to show — the best place to spot celebs is sometimes the last place you'd ever look.
