Fans of Sex and the City are eating up reports about the big-screen version of the HBO hit like hot cakes. So when OK! caught up with show star Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, at the Esquire Honors Law & Order event in New York City, the handsome actor had a lot to say.
What's it like being back on Sex and the City?
It's good. Although I was beaten on set the other day!
Oh in the wedding scene?
Yeah, with the flowers.
What can you tell us about that? Are these flashbacks?
All I can say is don't believe anything the media has said about it. They've got it all wrong. Who knows? Maybe it's all a dream… raises his eyebrows
Are you friends with the girls in real life?
In real life I'm not even sure of their names! Who are they? laughs
In the show's final episode, Mr. Big appeared to have finally changed. Can we expect him to be different in the movie?

You'll have to see! You know, when I read the pilot, I didn't like him. He seemed so arrogant. But it was the last line of the pilot that got me — "Abso-f**king-lutely." Then Michael Patrick King came along and he is just an incredible writer – really one of the best – and I had more to work with.
What's the difference between working on SATC and shooting Law & Order: Criminal Intent?
It would take me hours to answer that!
Are you in a relationship?
I never talk about my private life. When you're in this business it becomes so precious. I don't understand when people open up about themselves to the press – it's so strange to me.
