Donnie Brown chooses the perfect wedding locales for the celebrity brides to-be!
LEANN & EDDIE’S HAWAII ESCAPE
LeAnn Rimes admitted recently that planning her second wedding, to actor Eddie Cibrian, is “a lot to handle,” so OK! asked celebrity wedding planner Donnie Brown to come up with the perfect venue. “I would choose the Four Seasons esort, Lana’i at Manele Bay for LeAnn,” says Donnie, who’s a friend of the singer. “Lana’i is a very small, private island and you can have a ceremony on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. It’s going to be a more intimate wedding than either of them had before.” (fourseasons.com)
NATALIE & BENJAMIN’S NEW YORK CELEBRATION
New Yorker Natalie Portman has compared the glamour of a red carpet premiere to a wedding, so Donnie suggests a suitably grand venue like Gotham Hall, in the heart of her iconic home city, for her upcoming wedding to French choreographer Benjamin Millepied. “The grand ballroom is oval shaped with dramatic Corinthian columns,” says Donnie. “The gilded, domed ceiling draws the eyes upwards to an extraordinary 3,000-square-foot stained-glass skylight. Guests will be awestruck!” (gothamhallevents.com)

ALI & ROBERTO’S CALIFORNIA DREAM
According to Roberto Martinez, “California is at the top of the list,” for his upcoming wedding to former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky, who adds that she’d love to marry in “a big grassy field with the ocean view in the background.” Donnie recommends a sunset, oceanfront ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Southern California. “The Pacific Promenade Lawn has ocean views, framed by two trellised colonnades,” says Donnie. “And the resort’s easily accessible for all their guests to fly in.” (ritzcarlton.com)
