OK!'s NYC Fashion Week Blog: Charlotte Ronson
Feb. 13 2010, Published 5:17 a.m. ET
Can’t make it to NYC for Fashion Week? Don’t worry, OK!’s got you covered! We’ll be hitting up all the big shows and reporting back right here, every day, as soon as we tear our eyes off the runway! Tonight we caught the sights at Charlotte Ronson.
SHOW: Charlotte Ronson
WHEN: Feb. 12
WHO: Charlotte Ronson, Sam Ronson, Solange Knowles, Ann Dexter-Jones, Whitney Port, Erin Lucas
FASHION: Tie-dye, floral, velvet, neck-ruffles and turbans were typical of Charlotte's '60s rock influences. Classics like trenches, blazers and military surplus-inspired overcoats, often given added form by being belted or scrunched in at the waist.

BEAUTY: Minimal makeup and hippy-ish flowing locks.
MUSIC: A 60s inspired set to complement the looks, including:
"Little Green" — Joni Mitchell
"You're So Vain (You Probably Think This Song Is About You)" — Carly Simon
"She's Not There" — The Zombies
"She's Like a Rainbow" — The Rolling Stones.
COLOR: The front row provided some gossip for fans of The City. Whitney Port sat at one end of the runway, while (former?) pal Erin Lucas kept her distance at the other end — and the opposite side — of the catwalk. Across from her was Matt Dillon who explained to someone who was obviously as surprised to see him there that he is "a family friend" of Charlotte's. Alongside him was her mom, Ann Dexter Jones and her brother Alexander Dexter Jones, but apparently her other brother Mark Ronson is in Europe where we hear he is producing an album for Duran Duran.

The proud mother gave us a sneak-peek at the collection by dressing head to toe in samples Charlotte had sent her. She assured OK! that she had been given a reasonable family discount, but that her daughter doesn't give freebies to relatives because there's just too many people in Ronson/Dexter Jones clan. As always, it was a family affair with Charlotte's twin sister Sam, who used to provide the main attraction at the Charlotte Ronson shows by bringing her squeeze Lindsay Lohan along as her date, sitting sullenly as ever at the decks in the DJ booth. Also at the show was Solange Knowles, who told OK! that she'd be snapping up one of the turbans the first chance she got.
