One Direction's Zayn Malik Leaves Twitter

We heart One Direction, so we are a little sad that Zayn Malik has left Twitter!

Yesterday, the star left the social media site in a hurry, apparently citing negativity and abuse from haters on the online platform.

Before deleting his account (with almost 5 million followers), according to The Huffington Post, Zayn Tweeted, "The reason i don't tweet as much as i use to, is because I'm sick of all the useless opinions and hate that i get daily goodbye twitter :)"

Then he added, "My fans that have something nice to say can tweet me on the one direction account , :) x"

We're trying to remain optimistic here, since other celebs have deleted their accounts only to return (Miley Cyrus for starters), but something tells us he means business.
