One Kristy Lee, Hold The Mayo

With Kristy Lee Cook going into tonight's show having finished in the bottom three two weeks in a row, she needs all the support she can get. So both Kristy's hometown and her family are swinging into action for their girl.
Not only is her quarterback brother-in-law telling an entire football league to vote for her, the deli where Kristy used to work has named a sandwich after her.
The owner of Rosso's Deli in Grants Pass, OR, where Kristy worked until November 2007, promised her that if she did well in American Idol, she'd put her favorite sub on the menu.
There's some who might even say the filling is appropriate. If you ask for a Kirsty Lee, you'll get a large serving of turkey and a whole load of cheese.
"When she worked here, Kirsty had a favorite sandwich she would make for herself and she was always saying I should put it on my sandwich menu," Anita Fogarty said today.
"Before she went to Hollywood, she said, 'If I get far with this thing, you have to add it my sandwich,' and I promised I would.

"So a couple of weeks ago, I did.
"We always thought she was a real special person. It's our way of wishing her luck and it reminds everyone she's a hometown girl."
Meanwhile, her brother-in-law, John Dutton, a quarterback with Arena Football team Colorado Crush, sent out a press release yesterday to rally support from the league.
"The AFL is like one big family. It would be wonderful if everyone involved in the League – fans, players, coaches, staffers, and owners – showed their support for Kristy," said Dutton.
"Our immediate family is already proud of her and votes every week. I hope the AFL family will join me and vote for Kristy on Tuesday night."
