Oops! Britney in Another Car Crash

Pop star Britney Spears, who is notorious for her erratic driving, has been involved in a minor car accident this afternoon.

In an incident first reported on X17online.com, the singer allegedly rear-ended a Ford SUV while driving her white Mercedes SL on Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills earlier today. Neither Britney, the other driver, nor Brit's bodyguard who was in the car with her at the time, were injured in the accident.

Sources on the scene tell OK! that the driver of the SUV, which is registered to an Edith Cortese, followed Brit back to her house inside the gated community of The Summit. Instead of calling the police, the witness says that Brit's guard calmed the driver down and invited her over to the house.

The driver of the SUV exited The Summit minutes later and returned to her home in Los Angeles.
