Pam Anderson Returns to TV

Pamela Anderson is set to star in a new summer reality series, tentatively titled Pamela, on E!, the cable net announced Monday.

Following in the footsteps of Anna Nicole Smith, Pam will be the channel’s newest buxom blonde to give fans and viewers a peep inside her roller-coaster life.

"Pamela Anderson is one of the most captivating personalities in pop culture today," Lisa Berger, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Series Development for E!, says in a statement. "E!'s cameras capture Pam's fabulous adventures, emotional journey and all the surprises that come along the way. It's going to be a wild ride."

Pamela will be slightly different from Anna Nicole’s eponymous show. Shot documentary style, the series, which will not feature the 40-year-old’s sons, Brandon, 11, and Dylan, 10, is determined to give off a raw and intimate feel to it.

"Pamela will be an artistically rich and visually stunning series," says Randy Barbato, Managing Director, World of Wonder Productions, which is producing the show. "The series will offer an unprecedented look inside the life of one of today's most iconic superstars in the style of a uniquely shot documentary film."
