When you're a celebrity who dates celebrities, there's always that chance of an awkward run-in with an ex at popular hotspots — luckily for Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, that was narrowly avoided this weekend at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Paris and her on-again boyfriend Doug Reinhardt arrived Saturday, dining at Hard Rock's newest restaurant, Rare 120 before heading over to Body English nightclub for the evening to celebrate Doug's birthday.

Meanwhile, Benji was elsewhere under the Hard Rock roof, playing bass in friend Jason Ellis' band Taintstick.
An oblivious Paris and Doug stopped in to check out the scene at Wasted Space — but insiders tell OK! they "bolted" as soon as they realized Benji was playing.
