Paris Hilton was evacuated from an airplane today in L.A. after a passenger discovered a four-inch serrated knife in a seat pocket. Scary! According to TMZ, Paris and her boyfriend, Cy Waits, were headed to Maui.

Paris took to her Twitter account to spread the news: "We were about to take off then security made everyone deplane because they found a big knife on board the plane. Scary that it got on plane."

After an hour elapsed, Paris, her boyfriend and passengers re-boarded the plane.
She tweeted, "So strange a knife got on board. Can't wait to get to Maui."
