Patrick Dempsey plays a doctor, who saves lives for a living, on Grey’s Anatomy. But, new reports reveal that the actor actually helped to save a life in the real world this week, rescuing a boy out of a crashed car.

The 46-year-old allegedly took action and decided to assist the civilian himself after witnessing the collision.
