Life can't really get much better for Patrick Dempsey. The hunky doc's got a hit TV show, a booming film career (Made of Honor opens May 2), the perfect family and a physique to make most 42-year-old guys green with envy. But even McDreamy has an Achilles' heel.
"I'm not Eric Dane," he tells Parade in their upcoming issue. "McSteamy is in perfect shape. I definitely have pec envy. There's a lot of pressure being a man in this town."
The cycling enthusiast continues, "People are seeing a fantasy. It's not necessarily me, but it does help your ego. Look, I know TV is a visual medium, so of course I want to be in shape, but I don't want to be ripped."
His modesty even extends to life with his wife of nine years, hair and make up artist Jillian Fink, who's also mother to his three children Talula, 6, and twin 1-year-old boys, Darby and Sullivan.

How does Jillian deal with being married to a sex symbol? "I let my wife know I'm sexy all the time," Patrick laughed at a Made Of Honor event. "She likes it. It's fun-I enjoy it. It's great for your confidence. And then you look in the mirror and go: There's the reality."
But there's a flip side to being married to the sexiest onscreen doctor since George Clooney steamed up ER: "I think if we're out and women are disrespectful to our relationship it's hard for her. Women can be very aggressive and difficult at times, and that's hard. I couldn't handle it as well as she does. But I don't take it too seriously, and I do enjoy it."
