Pete Wentz: Ashlee Laughs at My Bad Jokes

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are a match made in heaven.

The Fall Out Boy bassist, 28, tells me he recently sent flowers to his 23-year-old girlfriend.

“And I paid for them,” he yuks. “I didn’t get them out of the ground from her neighbor’s house.”

Why are the rocker and the pop star perfect for each other?

“She puts up with absolutely everything I do,” he tells me. “She’s my best friend and … I couldn’t imagine she’d put up with me, and she does, in a very loving, awesome way. She laughs at all my bad jokes too.”
