Peter Sarsgaard's summer vacation was unexpectedly interrupted by a prick from a tick. Sources exclusively tell OK! that the Golden Globe-nominated actor was forced to leave Martha's Vineyard, where he had been relaxing with fiancée Maggie Gyllenhaal and their daughter Ramona, 10 months, after contracting Lyme disease.'Peter got Lyme disease from a tick and had to leave Martha's Vineyard for a week,' the source tells OK!. To recover from the tick-born illness, it is recommended to depart from the site of infection. The Vineyard is notorious for its high rate of Lyme disease cases.Peter returned to the couple's Brooklyn stomping grounds to recuperate, but that wasn't an entirely comfortable environment either.'The brownstone they're renovating in Park Slope has been held up for three months by an evil plumber,' the source adds.By Joyce EngPhoto: Wireimage.com
