Phillip Bloch Gives Michelle's Gown The Thumbs Up

With Michelle Obama's gown for the Inaugural balls being almost as hotly anticipated as the inauguration itself, there was a pretty good chance that it wouldn't be everything we'd hoped for.
But celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch tells OK! the one-shouldered full-length white Jason Wu gown Michelle Obama chose for the 10 balls Tuesday evening did not disappoint.
"I think that it was elegant, and chic," he tells OK!
"She really stepped it up. I think that all of the Hollywood connections are rubbing off!
"Fashion is going to be a great treat over the next eight years -hopefully," he said.
First Lady Michelle Obama -whose husband President Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of The United States yesterday in Washington, D.C.- has established herself for her impeccable, but yet fiscally conscious fashion sense.

She has also been compared to one of the most famous fashionable First Ladies: Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (a.k.a. Jackie O).
"I think that Jackie O would have stood up, and cheered for that gown today! I believe that she is the modern day Jackie O," Phillip told us.
Here's to at least four years of high fashion in the White House!
